How long has Knowledge Peak been in business?

We were founded in May of 2002.

Who is Knowledge Peak?

We are an information technology training company that also provides consulting services. We have won the “Best in St Paul” award for training 4 times. We offer a variety of technology capabilities and provide a focused emphasis on service management.

Where is Knowledge Peak?

Our classrooms are located in Bloomington, MN. We are in the area of Hwy 494 and Hwy 100 about 15 minutes from the MSP airport. We are on the 9th floor of the Southgate Office Plaza. For full address and directions, please see contact us page.

How do I pay for my training?

We accept checks, most major credit cards, and electronic fund transfers (EFT).

Does Knowledge Peak offer training not listed on the website?

In many cases, Knowledge Peak has the resources to deliver training in areas not listed on our site. Please contact us to see if we can help with your need.

What is Knowledge Peak’s area of expertise?

We are one of the largest providers of accredited ITIL training in Minneapolis-St Paul and we are one of the larger providers in the U.S.A. We have 4 local and 10 nationally based ITIL Expert accredited instructors. We offer PeopleCert accredited ITIL materials. We expand our service management offerings to include Cobit 5, IEC/ISO 20000, Lean, and a variety of workshops to enable our customers the ability to address service management from a variety of perspectives.

My company uses a specific framework. Why should we consider another framework?

While all of the best practices frameworks for I.T. are good choices on their own, we believe understanding a variety of frameworks helps you be more efficient and creative in problem solving. By understanding processes and problems from a variety of angles, you are better able to find a best solution. You will also find that frameworks like Cobit and ITIL complement each other.

Who are Knowledge Peak’s instructors?

We instructors that we utilize have years of experience in their field of expertise. The instructors maintain their certification(s) in their field of expertise and spend time working with customers on projects to maintain current real-world experience that can enhance student learning.

What is your cancel policy?

All cancellations must be received during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST Monday – Friday) via e-mail with a follow-up confirmation phone call to Knowledge Peak. Canceling a registered student within 10 business days of the class start date requires that the full price of the course be paid. The sponsoring company will be charged the full price of the course for “no shows”. Student substitutions are acceptable at any point before class start date without penalty.

Can I re-schedule to a different date?

If you cancel 10 or more days prior to class, you are allowed to reschedule to a future class date. If you cancel in under 10 business days, you may re-schedule to a future date but the class will be subject to availability and our confirmation it will run.

Do you charge me to re-take a class?

All students may re-sit a class for up to 1 year at no additional charge. Students are expected to bring their course materials from the original course. If new materials need to be ordered, the student will be charged for the materials.

Do you provide lunch or snacks?

We do not provide lunch, but our facility has a break area with tables for you to bring your own lunch or sit and relax. There are also several area restaurants for you to venture out during lunch break.

We do provide morning and afternoon snacks in the classroom and the break area has vending machines for drinks or additional snacks. We also provide free water and coffee.
