Oracle 9i Database Administration

This hands-on course provides students with the fundamental skills to create, maintain and manage an Oracle 9i database.  The class will focus on day-to-day duties of an Oracle DBA, such as managing users and security, space management, creating database objects (tablespaces, tables, indexes) and backup and recovery.  The Oracle 9i database architecture is discussed in great detail.  This course provides the foundation of knowledge for new Oracle DBAs but does not cover database tuning.
