Leadership and Change Management SPL® Workshop

“Common sense, but not common practice”. We know what a “good” leader should do, so why are we so bad at it? It has everything to do with practice. We practice the technical things, and ignore the human issues. We get better technically, but continue to struggle with leadership challenges. Only through self awareness, feedback and practice will we improve our leadership skills.

In this two day workshop participants will be challenged through lecture and computer simulation to increase their self awareness and look for and make changes from every day feedback. The feedback will range from subtle to obvious, and is based on the decisions that they have made, just like in real-life.

In teams of four, participants actually lead a simulated real-life team through a major unwanted organizational change. They learn their own leadership strengths and weaknesses and practice using different leadership styles based on the current situation. They learn the phases people go through as a result of a major change and what they can do as a leader to help their people with the transition. Through the simulation they practice and develop their leadership and change management skills - learning from their mistakes and their successes
